Last week I wrote about feeling overwhelmed about moving back into our condo and all of the home projects in our future. Unlike two years ago when I stalked expat blogs, now my fingers navigate to countless home decor/DIY blogs, and by default, all their Pintrest pages.
I’m a notorious over-analyzer when it comes to decisions – regardless if they are trivial in the grand scheme of things. I tend to obsess over holiday destinations, hotel reservations, haircuts, and now color palettes. Once I make a decision, I commit, but the process getting there can be painful.
Luckily, David is the exact opposite. He not only makes decisions quickly, but also decisively. This is coming in handy now since we have to make so many choices about our condo. We’ve given each other veto power on purchases, but luckily we haven’t had to use it yet! He picked out our paint color, and so far so good!

Since I’m new to this space any home decor shops or blogs you want to recommend? I’m not terribly DIY, and I get a little freaked out by overstylized design or blogs titled something like, “5 things every entryway needs.”

Thanks Melizza! Good to hear from you. YHL is actually in my town, which makes it even more intimidating! I’m on the look-out for the girl just like me who wants pretty things but doesn’t know where to start!
